Behavioural Index Survey

Introduction

Thank you for participating in Acuity's PM Behavioural Index survey. This survey seeks to measure the extent to which organisations have implemented the recommendations of the 2007 PMO Executive Council study, Attributes of a High-Performing Project Manager. In particular, we are measuring the extent to which organisations have embedded behavioural attributes into their PM recruitment, development and performance management practices.

The survey is divided into the following 5 sections:

  • About You and Your Organisation
  • PM Behaviours in Your Organisation
  • PM Recruitment Process
  • PM Performance Management
  • PM Development Process

The survey makes many references to PM behaviours. We define behaviours as the non-technical, interpersonal actions and reactions that influence how skills, knowledge and experience are applied. These include observable behaviours such as:

  • demonstrating credibility;
  • building relationships with stakeholders;
  • communicating in an engaging and compelling manner.

A note on privacy
This survey is anonymous.
The record kept of your survey responses does not contain any identifying information about you unless a specific question in the survey has asked for this. If you have responded to a survey that used an identifying token to allow you to access the survey, you can rest assured that the identifying token is not kept with your responses. It is managed in a separate database, and will only be updated to indicate that you have (or haven't) completed this survey. There is no way of matching identification tokens with survey responses in this survey.
